The second day of the World Cup is upon us and there is plenty for Arsenal fans to be keeping an eye on over the four matches.
Argentina take on Saudi Arabia in the early kick-off, before Denmark take on Tunisia, Mexico face Poland and finally France play Australia. Gunners star William Saliba could be set to make his World Cup debut with Les Bleus this evening after impressing following his return to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
Bukayo Saka shone for England as the Hale End graduate scored twice in the Three Lions 6-2 win against Iran, with his club teammates reacting to his stunning display on social media. Long-term transfer target Cody Gakpo latched onto Frenkie De Jong's enticing cross for the Netherlands' opener, heading home past Senegal and Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy as he reminded Mikel Arteta of his ability ahead of the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, Matt Turner was in action for the USA and was unlucky not to save Gareth Bale's penalty as Wales salvaged a draw against the Americans. With just one Arsenal player set to be in action today, there is the added focus on potential transfer targets ahead of the January transfer window next month.
With that in mind, football.london takes a look at the names you need to keep an eye on at the World Cup today.
Hirving Lozano
The Napoli winger was linked with a £50million move to the Emirates Stadium over the summer but a transfer never materialised with the Mexican star remaining with the Serie A outfit. Lozano has scored four goals and provided three assists in 19 appearances for Napoli so far this term, helping the Italian club throughout their immense first half of the season.
Arsenal are keen to add a winger to Mikel Arteta's squad in January and with Lozano being used as a rotation option for Luciano Spaletti's side at present, the Gunners could look to make a move for the Mexican. The 27-year-old is valued at around £25million by CIES Football Observatory, making him an affordable and quality option with just 18 months left on his current deal.
William Saliba and Marcus Thuram
Saliba has been one of the standout performers for Arsenal this season after returning to the Emirates Stadium following a successful loan spell with Marseille last term. The French defender's form warranted a call-up to Didier Deschamps 26-man France World Cup squad and Saliba could be in line for a start this evening.
Arsenal fans will be keen to see how he performs on the world stage should he start, but with competition against Man United's Raphael Varane and Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate, it isn't certain Saliba will start. Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Marcus Thuram is also in Qatar for France and following the injuries to Christopher Nkunku and Karim Benzema, his chances of featuring have drastically increased, with his contract at the German club set to expire in 2023.
