Arsenal and Manchester City have been handed fines by the Football Association after their players 'surrounded the match official' during their recent Premier League clash.
The FA has issued a statement in relation to the offences from the February 15 meeting, with charges first announced in the days after the game. City won the top of the table clash in north London.
Arsenal have been fined an initial £65,000 plus an additional £20,000 - a sum which had been suspended in relation to a previous charge relating to the Gunners' FA Cup match against Oxford United. City's charge, meanwhile, amounts to £75,000, with the FA making reference to incidents in the 42nd and 64th minutes.
"Arsenal and Manchester City have both been fined by an independent Regulatory Commission after their players surrounded the match official at different times during their Premier League fixture on Wednesday 15 February," the statement reads.
"Arsenal have been fined £65,000 after the club admitted that it failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 56th minute of the fixture. As a consequence, an independent Appeal Board has imposed an additional fine of £20,000, which had been suspended from an earlier determination relating to the club’s breach in their game against Oxford United on 9 January.

Players of Arsenal and Man City surrounded referee Anthony Taylor on separate occasions in the clash at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal star Bukayo Saka fired home a 42nd minute equaliser to level things up after Kevin De Bruyne scored an early opener for the visitors, but second-half efforts from Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland ensured the points went the way of Pep Guardiola's team.
Arsenal had previously been handed a £40,000 fine for failing to control their players in the game against Oxford. The Gunners beat the lower-league side, only to lose to City in the fourth round.
That came after a separate charge relating to a league meeting with Newcastle United. Mikel Arteta's side were held to a 0-0 draw by the Magpies on January 3, but there was late controversy as the London side appealed for a penalty.
"Arsenal FC admitted that it failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 95th minute," an FA statement relating to the Newcastle game read. "An independent Regulatory Commission imposed the club's sanction during a subsequent hearing."
