Arsenal have reportedly agreed terms with Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo. The Ecuador international is expected to secure a big-money move this summer despite signing a new deal in March.
Chelsea and Arsenal are amongst those interested in the 21-year-old after his impressive performances for Brighton helped them earn a place in next season's Europa League. Caicedo looked destined to move back in January but the Gunners saw two bids rejected - the last being in the region of £70million.
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi hinted on the final day of the season that Caicedo could leave this summer, handing Arsenal and Chelsea a major boost. "I think it can be the last game for Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo at Brighton," he said.

"I am really sorry because they are two great players but the policy of Brighton is like this. It is right that they can leave, to play at higher level."
It's thought Chelsea are now prioritising the Ecuadorian after pulling out of the race to sign Sporting CP star Manuel Ugarte. However, Mauricio Pochettino looks set to be handed another blow to his rebuild at Stamford Bridge.
According to Ecuadorian outlet Teradeportes, Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the midfielder over a move in the summer. It is, however, claimed that Chelsea will offer Caicedo an ultimatum with better wages to pass up the opportunity to play in the Champions League.
Arsenal, of course, have a clear advantage in the race for Caicedo given the fact they can guarantee Champions League football. After their disappointing 2022/23 season, Chelsea will not participate in any European competition.
