FOUR men have been arrested following a large-scale disturbance in Glasgow.
The men, aged 23, 26, 27, and 28, were arrested after warrants were executed in Glasgow and South Lanarkshire.
They are charged in connection with the disorder that occurred on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Rangers and Celtic Ultras clashed on the morning of an Old Firm match.
The men are being held in police custody and will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, February 10.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "This is an ongoing operation and enquiries are ongoing to identify and trace those involved in the disorder.
"I urge anyone who has any information that could assist our investigation to please attend at a local police station or contact us via 101.”
On the day of the violence, shoppers had to cower in doorways to get away.
Footage showed dozens of men wearing balaclavas fighting with each other and the police.
At the time of the incidents, Stevie Dolan, chief superintendent, said: “We have dealt with a number of incidents in Glasgow city centre today involving individuals engaging in disorder and violence across the city.
"Officers have had to act swiftly and robustly to ensure public safety and reduce disorder.
"It impacts other members of the public and the vast majority of football supporters who want to enjoy the cup final event safely."
