Two people have been arrested over a confrontation at a pride march and police are seeking help to identify four others.
Approximately 50 protesters confronted members of Victoria Police as they marched in the Midsumma Pride Festival on February 4 in Melbourne.
About 100 Victoria Police staff were among the more than 15,000 marchers who took part in the annual event at St Kilda.
The force says several items were thrown at police as they were surrounded by the group.
Vision of the clash showed police and protesters pushing and shoving each other.
Last week, two men aged 28 and 29 were arrested at a unit in Brunswick West.
The pair was interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
On Monday, officers released photos of four people they want to speak to about the incident and asked anyone with information to contact police.
