A man has been arrested after a police officer was punched in the face on the London Underground.
The attack occurred around 7.50am on January 23 when an argument broke out between two men on a westbound District line service between South Kensington and Gloucester Road stations.
One of the men allegedly punched the officer in the face during the altercation. Police arrested a man in his 20s at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, assaulting an emergency worker and possession of a Class B drug.
British Transport Police are seeking witnesses to the incident.
