A man armed with a knife robbed a shop in St Helens.
Police were called to reports that a man, with a knife, entered McColls, on Higher Parr Street, at around 5.45pm on Sunday, January 29. The suspect demanded money from shop workers.
He stole the money and then ran from the scene. Officers said no injuries were reported in the robbery.

A short time after the incident, a 29-year-old man, from St Helens, was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He is being kept in custody and questioned by police.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A man has been arrested following a report of a robbery at a shop in St Helens yesterday, Sunday 29 January. It was reported that at around 5.45pm a man entered McColls on Higher Parr Street with a knife and demanded money.
"He then made off with a quantity of money. No injuries were reported. A 29-year-old man from St Helens was arrested a short time later on suspicion of robbery.
