The AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to bring back veteran Mason Rudolph who has spent the past five seasons in Pittsburgh. ESPN’s Brooke Pryor is reporting the move to bring back Rudolph after he tested free agency and didn’t find a deal he liked.
Rudolph was the third quarterback last season behind rookie Kenny Pickett and Week One starter Mitchell Trubisky and will likely have the same role with the team in 2023. Browns’ fans will always remember Rudolph the most for the incident between Myles Garrett and the quarterback in primetime back in 2019. Having a player with experience in the system with the team is never a bad thing to have around.
