The saga between AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, and their quarterback (or should I say soon-to-be former quarterback) Lamar Jackson has hit new heights. The former Most Valuable Player has requested a trade from the team that made him the 32nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Jackson has been looking for a new contract and one that emulates what the Browns gave Deshaun Watson a year ago. The Ravens have been unwilling to meet that demand, previously placing a non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson before the trade. And now it looks quite likely he will never take another snap in purple and black ever again. What a shame for them.
