Around 60 firefighters were called to Kingston upon Thames in west London where a two-storey house and loft converstion were on fire.
London Fire Brigade took seven calls from 6.20am on Sunday to the address on Southwood Avenue and found part of the loft space and first floor were alight.
Eight fire engines were dispatched from New Malden, Surbiton, Kingston and surrounding fire stations. Crews were able to extinguish the fire shortly before 8am.
“The fire was located in a detached house of two floors, with a loft conversion,” a statement read.
“Part of the loft space and first floor were alight. Three people left the property before the Brigade arrived. There are currently no reports of any injuries.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
