Skating sessions and street food stalls are among the attractions on offer to crowds at a summer fair that has been announced in Arnold. Gedling Borough Council says the event will take place on Saturday (June 24) from 11am until 5pm.
The authority says it wants the event to be a "celebration of community and diversity", with stalls showcasing work by African and Caribbean artists being available. The Arnold Summer Fair is being held at the Arnot Hill Park, where a 'skate jam' will also be held for both new and experienced skaters.
Councillor John Clarke, the Leader of Gedling Borough Council, said: "The Arnold Summer Fair is a fantastic opportunity for our communities to come together, celebrate our diversity, and enjoy a day filled with entertainment and culture.
