Arnaut Danjuma has admitted it was a "no-brainer" once Tottenham made their move to sign him on loan from Villarreal. On course to join Everton on a loan deal until the end of the season, Spurs hijacked the deal on Tuesday and it resulted in a late U-turn after having reportedly completed his medical, media duties and all agreements on Merseyside.
Boosting Antonio Conte's attack going into the business end of the season, Danjuma will give his new head coach options as he can play from the left wing or as a striker. Now that he has officially signed on the dotted line at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the new man cannot wait to get going.
"Amazing, I'm very delighted to be here," he told the club's official website. "As soon as Tottenham Hotspur came through for me it was a no-brainer. It's a massive club, brilliant coach, brilliant staff, brilliant club facilities, obviously unbelievable, so for me I'm very, very excited to be part of the team."

On the opportunity to work with Conte, he added: "I'm really looking forward to working with him, he's got so much experience as a manager. For me, as a developing player, it's only great. It gives me the opportunity to learn and be amongst the greats."
Danjuma already knows quite a bit about Tottenham after playing alongside Serge Aurier, Juan Foyth and Giovani Lo Celso during his 18 months with Villarreal. Having got good insight from the trio, as well as international teammate Steven Bergwijn, the new signing only received positive feedback from his former teammates.
"Yeah, obviously I'd spoken to them quite a few times to be honest with you," he admitted. "And the good thing to only hear from your own teammates as well is their reactions are only positive, so the feedback has been positive from them as well, which only for me is only good and positive for me going into this new challenge."
Danjuma, who contributed with 16 goals in his first season with Villarreal, is looking to have a big impact once he finally steps on the pitch for Tottenham. Goals and assists are very much his priority as he looks to help the team to a successful season.
"I hope to add something extra, have an impact, hoping to add some goals and assists to the team which hopefully results in more wins," said the Lagos-born ace. "I think it is no debate that the Premier League is the best league in the world, hence why for me I am very excited to be here, especially at such a great club. It gives me the opportunity to perform on a high platform and do what I love the most."
Returning to England after his time with Bournemouth, Danjuma's knowledge and experience of the country could potentially result in a fast start to his Spurs career.
"When I look back on my career already, I think there were a few times when I didn't really need to adapt to the culture of the club, especially coming to England for me is like coming home," he revealed. "I speak the language, I am very used to the culture, familiar with the people, so I am hoping I don't need too much to adapt.
"I'll do my best to make sure I integrate into the team as good as possible. That's why I'm just hoping to add something to the group, something to the club, something to the team. I hope that my Champions League experience will help the team as well.
"I hope to be positive, hope to have a good impact, hope to be able to prove my qualities as a player, hope to give something new and something enthusiastic for the fans and aim for the highest possible in every competition we are competing in."
