Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma has already hinted that he would be open to a return to the Premier League amid Manchester United's interest in his signature.
As revealed by the Manchester Evening News , United, who are likely to be very active in this summer's transfer window, are keeping tabs on the Dutchman following an outstanding first season in Spain. He joined Villarreal from Bournemouth almost a year ago and excelled this term, scoring 16 goals and grabbing four assists in all competitions.
As well as scoring ten goals in La Liga, the 25-year-old also netted six goals to help Villarreal reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, featuring strikes against both Juventus and Bayern Munich. Considering he was playing in the Championship last season, it has been a remarkable rise to fame for the versatile forward.

His move to Villarreal came to fruition after an excellent campaign with Bournemouth last term, in which he scored 17 goals and grabbed eight assists, as they narrowly missed out on promotion via the Championship play-offs. He was signed by the Cherries in August 2019, at which time they were a Premier League club.
However, his only campaign as a Premier League player was hampered by injury woes, limiting him to just 14 appearances. But despite not earning much experience in the top-flight of English football, he learnt enough to discover that the Premier League is unlike any other league in the world, meaning he has refused to close the door on one day returning to England.
"I 100 per cent enjoyed my time in England," Danjuma admitted, speaking in an interview with 90Min in April. "Looking back now I no way appreciated it as much as I should have done when I lived there.
"For me, it's just such a nice country to live in and I'm fluent in the language so that helps as well. I'm trying my best at Spanish as well. I've got family that still lives in England.
"In terms of the Premier League, it's indescribable. The thing I will never forget in the Premier League is the fans. If you just walk into the stadium you cannot replicate the feeling of a Premier League game elsewhere in the world, it's different.
"So in that regard you are always going to miss a bit of England. If I'm returning one day, I guess that's up to the way I perform and what the future holds for me."
