Arnaut Danjuma breaks silence on 'no-brainer' Tottenham transfer after Everton U-turn

Arnaut Danjuma says moving to Tottenham Hotspur was a "no-brainer" after Antonio Conte's side hijacked Everton's move.

The Dutchman had completed his medical at Finch Farm ahead of a proposed loan move to the Blues but at the 11th hour, the north London side swooped in and snapped up the Villarreal attacker.

Unlike Everton's proposed move, Spurs' deal includes an option to buy as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of a busy second half campaign.

"[It feels] Amazing, I'm very delighted to be here," the 25-year-old said speaking to their official website. "As soon as Tottenham Hotspur came through for me it was a no brainer, it's a massive club, brilliant coach, staff.

"The facilities are obviously unbelievable so for me, I'm very, very excited to be apart of the team.

"I'm really looking forward to working with him, he's got so much experience as a manager, as a developing player for me it's great. It gives me the ability to learn and be amongst the greats," he added on working under the former Inter Milan manager.

On Monday, Danjuma had posted a cryptic message ahead of, what seemed to be, his imminent arrival at Goodison Park. However, Spurs' efforts to swoop will see him feature as an option in their FA Cup and Champions League ambitions - as well as their push for top four.
