An Armley resident had quite the shock when they opened their front door to see a blazing fire and thick black smoke.
The Leeds mum, who wishes to remain unnamed, reported the incident happened around 11am on Friday (May 13) in Armley Grange Drive. She said: "We just heard three bangs and saw black smoke.
"It came over the top of the houses, I just live across the road from where it happened."

She added: "When we got there, the car was already on fire. It was on fire behind the Armley Granges."
"It [the car] definitely looks like it was dumped. The woman who lives opposite where the car was said it wasn't there this morning.
"She has to drive through there to get out her house - it's her only way out."
A thick black smoke cloud hung in the air for a short while over the top of the houses in the area. It came from a white vehicle which was seen ablaze.
Concerned residents watched as a West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service fighter attended to the scene. Pictures from an eyewitness show the extent of the fire before black ash debris was left in the area.
A number of residents reported they believe the incident is arson but there are no confirmed reports of this at the time being. Leeds Live has been in touch West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue to clarify how the fire started and further information.
