Armie Hammer reveals his mother paid for vasectomy for his birthday in bizarre podcast

Armie Hammer's mother has revealed that she paid for her son’s vasectomy as a gift for his 38th birthday.

The actor, who has been out of the public eye for three years following serious accusations of rape and cannibalistic interests, has reemerged with his own podcast.

Hammer has repeatedly denied the claims, insisting his relationships were consensual, and through his lawyer at the time, dismissed the allegations as “bull****.”

On a recent episode of The Armie HammerTime Podcast, his mother Dru Hammer, appearing as a guest, revealed her unusual birthday gift.

She said: “I call Armie, and I go, ‘Armie, what would you like for your birthday this year?’ And he goes, ‘I don’t know. Maybe money, whatever.’ And I was like, ‘I believe I’m going to give you a vasectomy.’”

The Rebecca actor then recounted the surprise of the clinic’s receptionist when she learned it was his mother footing the bill.

He said: “I walk out to the receptionist and she asks, ‘Are you going to be putting this on insurance’ and I say, ‘Oh I actually don't have insurance’, and she goes, ‘What?’ and I say, ‘Yeah I haven't had insurance in years’ and she goes, ‘Oh okay, are you going to be putting it on a credit card?’ and I go, ‘Oh no no my credit cards won't cover this, my mother is going to be calling you and she's going to be paying for it’.

“And she was looking down and she goes, ‘What?’ and I say, ‘Yes my mother gave me this as a birthday present’.

“It just was one of those things like you could tell she was hearing something and is like, ‘I've never heard — what are you talking about?’ So yeah my mom got me a vasectomy for my birthday.”

Hammer also revisited the infamous cannibalism rumours, revealing that his mother had once called to ask him—half-jokingly—if he’d left any women “missing limbs.”

In his podcast, the screen star joked about being branded a “cannibal rapist” after multiple woman accused him of violent abuse and harbouring cannibalism fantasies in 2021.

Hammer denied the claims through his attorney, asserting that all his intimate encounters were “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.” Last year, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office decided not to charge Hammer over the allegations.

Hammer and his then-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, then separated in July 2020. The couple shares two children: Harper, now nine, and Ford, seven.

Dru shared that she had phoned her son when the allegations surfaced, asking him: “I even called you one time and was like, ‘Ok, let me just get this straight.' I go, ‘Are there any women out there with ribs or limbs missing?'

“That's what I want to know as a mother because end of conversation, if there are ribs or limbs missing.

His mother then claimed: “But let's be honest, I think you learned not to put stupid things in DMs because no one was eaten, no one was raped. You were stupid.”
