Armed police swoop on Liverpool streets after shooting
Police carried out operations in Old Swan and Croxteth as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting in Broadgreen earlier this week.
Officers attended properties on Baden Road, Old Swan and Lindisfarne Drive, Croxteth on Wednesday.
Pictures shared with the ECHO showed a number of police vehicles, including Matrix vans, parked outside an address on Baden Road, while armed officers were also seen working in an alleyway off the street.

At around 9pm on Sunday January 16, a man in his 20s attended the Royal Liverpool University Hospital with gunshot wounds to his chest and arms following a shooting on The Green, Broadgreen.

'Foolish' dealers caught by police trying to board train with £15k of speed
Two drug dealers were caught with more than 2kg of amphetamines after being spotted acting nervous in a Merseyside train station.
Gary Dunn, 45, and Carl Hampton, 35, were jailed after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply drugs of Class B status at Liverpool Crown Court on January 14.
Detective Inspector Matt Davies said: " Dunn and Hampton were foolish to think they could utilise the railway in their drug dealing operation, thankfully our inconspicuous officers were able to intercept the Hull pair and seize the large haul before it reached its intended destination."
