Armed police attended an incident last night after a man was reportedly spotted with a gun.
Officers rushed to Abingdon Grove, Walton, at around 10.20pm on Wednesday, December 7 after reports a man was damaging windows of a house. Witnesses also claimed that the man had a gun.
Police attended the scene and found damage to windows but no injuries were reported. Searches were then carried out around the area and Liverpool city centre.

A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "Detectives are investigating following a suspected firearms incident in Liverpool last night, Wednesday 7 December. At around 10.20pm, armed police were called to Abingdon Grove, Walton to reports of a man damaging windows of a house, and reportedly in possession of what may have been a firearm.
"Nobody was injured but damage of the house was confirmed. An extensive search of Walton and Liverpool City Centre was carried out but nobody was located and enquiries continue.
