Armed cops have locked down a street outside a block of flats in Dundee. Emergency crews raced to the scene at around 10.30am on February 27, after receiving reports of an ongoing incident at Bonnethill Court.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed four appliances are at the scene, with up to 10 police vehicles also stationed on Hilltown Terrace.
Footage from the scene shows fire and police officers standing outside their vehicles, as concerned members of the public can be seen watching on.
Another video shows up to ten police vehicles parked along Hilltown Terrace. A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are supporting emergency service partners at an incident at Bonnethill Court in Dundee.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances and other specialist resources to the area after the alarm was raised at 10.30am on Monday, February 27.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Due to an ongoing police incident, Hilltown Terrace is currently closed and officers are in attendance."
