Armed police and a helicopter descended on a street after a "disturbance".
Cheshire Police received a worrying 999 call at 4pm on Wednesday, November 9, following reports of a disturbance in Warrington. The force was called to a block of flats on Portland Road in Great Sankey.
Officers closed a number of roads in the area as armed police and dogs descended on the street and went into the flats. A police helicopter was also spotted by eyewitnesses circling above the area.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported seeing a man "dragged out" of the flats. A spokesperson from Cheshire Police added the road was closed as a precaution.
They said: "At 4pm this afternoon (Wednesday 9 November) police were called to flats in Portland Road, Great Sankey following reports of a disturbance. Police supported by firearms officers and the police helicopter are making enquiries in the area.
"The road is closed as a precaution."
