What Roman Abramovich and Marina Granovskaia did after Chelsea secured Club World Cup title
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was spotted in a nice moment with Thomas Tuchel after the final whistle went in the Club World Cup final against Palmeiras.
The Blues completed the full sweep of trophies under the Abramovich era as Tuchel won the club's first Club World Cup title.
Abramovich himself, who was spotted clapping and fist-pumping on Channel 4's coverage of the final after deciding to make the trip across Eastern Europe to the Middle East, celebrated more after the proceedings were brought to an end after a crazy last few minutes in the Mohammad Bin Zayad Stadium.
As spotted in the post-match celebrations, the Russian owner entered the field with Marina Granovskaia and as soon as he saw Tuchel, gave him a big high-five and presented him with a beaming smile.

Cesar Azpilicueta could be off to Barcelona
Whilst reports linking the Chelsea Captain to Camp Nou have been making headlines for some time, given his contract is running down, there has been a spike following Cesc Fabregas hinting that Azpilicueta’s move is “almost done” when speaking to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero on his Twitch show Jijantes.
Nonetheless, in true Azpilicueta style, he remains collected, playing his cards close to his chest:
"Of course, I arrived in the summer of 2012 and I didn’t have kids. My kids were born in London and you know how I feel about Chelsea…but I am not going to comment on my future," he said.
Armando Broja continues to knock on the door
Armando Broja impressed again for Southampton against Manchester United.
Currently ranking in the top 20% of all strikers in Europe’s top five leagues for Expected Goals, Pressure, and Aerial Duels Won, Broja has initiated the metamorphic process of becoming a stand-out Premier League striker.
With eight goals in 1,200 minutes of football in a resurgent Southampton team, Broja is turning the heads of clubs and fans alike. There is little wonder why the Chelsea fan base are so keen on giving Broja a chance to spearhead Chelsea’s attack.
His performance against Manchester United once again highlighted his quality. Reminiscent of Diego Costa in his rangy movement and ability to flat-track bully defenders, Broja will almost certainly be the subject of multiple bids come the summer transfer window.
Chelsea will have to act quickly to ensure he stays or, if the club believes that the best option is selling him, then a move that prioritises his football development rather than going with the highest bidder would certainly be preferable.
