Last season’s Championship clash between Armagh and Galway was, arguably, the game of the season.
This weekend’s rematch is one of the most eagerly-anticipated games of this year’s All-Ireland SFC series and there’s plenty at stake for both teams.
Galway, who won last year’s quarter-final clash in Croke Park following a penalty shootout, are in pole position to top Group Two and secure a home quarter-final after wins over Tyrone and Westmeath.
Armagh lost out to the Red Hands last time out and another defeat could see them eliminated if Westmeath also win on Sunday.
Kieran McGeeney’s side were beaten by an injury-time goal from Matthew Tierney in March’s League meeting and they’ll be keen to gain a Championship victory against one of the top teams in the country.
