Spooky season is upon us and there were definitely plenty of horrors awaiting Auburn fans in Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday as the Tigers dropped their fourth consecutive game of the season in a 41-27 loss to Arkansas.
The Razorbacks slashed through the Auburn defense like a horror movie villain in a mask, racking up 520 yards of total offense, including 286 on the ground. It was a decidedly horrible day for the Tigers, who are now 3-5 on the season with just one SEC win.
As if the blowout on the field wasn’t painful enough, the Arkansas social media team came back to deliver the final blow with perhaps the season’s most brutal Spirit Halloween meme yet.

With a losing record and a coaching staff that’s likely on its way out the door, Auburn’s stadium may have a lot in common with most Spirit Halloween locations in the month of November — quiet, empty and eagerly awaiting next year.
