It was a heartbreaker of a March Madness loss for TCU to No. 1 seed Arizona on Sunday, with the Horned Frogs taking the Wildcats to overtime in their second round matchup before losing.
And for a second time in the 2022 men’s NCAA tournament — the first being Michigan’s coach Juwan Howard with Tenessee’s Kennedy Chandler — we saw a coach consoling an opposing player.
Arizona’s Tommy Lloyd found an emotional Eddie Lampkin and gave him some words of encouragement that we couldn’t hear. But it didn’t matter — you know what the message is in a moment like that.
