Patna: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan took oath as the new Governor of Bihar, while Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was administered the oath as the new Governor of Kerala. Both of them took oath on Thursday.

Chief Justice of Patna High Court, Justice K Vinod Chandran administered the oath of office of Governor of Bihar to Arif Mohammad Khan at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan.

After taking the oath, Khan told, "I have just taken the oath. Bihar has a magnificent history and the people of Bihar have great potential - they are running the entire system of the country..."

Kerala High Court Chief Justice Nitin Madhukar Jamdar administered the oath of office of Governor of Kerala Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at a brief function held at Raj Bhavan in Thiruvanathapuram.

Arlekar, after taking oath as Governor of Kerala, said on X, "Taking oath as the Governor of Kerala today is a proud moment and an important responsibility for me.
