Ariana Madix recently opened up about her financial struggles before her rise to fame following the scandal involving her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval. In a preview for an upcoming episode of 'Vanderpump Rules,' Madix revealed that she was facing financial difficulties and was down to her last $2,000 before the scandal erupted in March 2023.
Despite the perception that she had made millions of dollars, Madix clarified that it was not the case. She shared that she and Sandoval had initially planned to buy a house when she started earning decent money, which put her in a position of playing catch-up financially. Additionally, a significant portion of her earnings went towards starting a sandwich shop with her friend Katie Maloney.
Madix found herself in a challenging financial situation in March 2023, with only $2,000 to her name. However, following the scandal, she quickly turned things around by securing partnerships with various brands, leading to an estimated profit of $2 million post-scandal. While the exact earnings from these partnerships remain undisclosed, reports suggest that she could be making around $50,000 to $70,000 per Instagram post.
Furthermore, Madix and Maloney generated $200,000 in just two weeks by selling merchandise for their sandwich shop, which garnered support from fans during Madix's difficult time. Madix also ventured into other projects, such as competing on 'Dancing With the Stars,' releasing a cocktail book, and starring in the Broadway musical 'Chicago.'
Despite her financial success, Madix has not yet moved out of the $2 million home she shares with Sandoval in Valley Village, California. In January, she took legal action against Sandoval by requesting a 'partition by sale' to list the property. Sandoval, on the other hand, claimed to have offered Madix over $3 million to buy her half of the home so he could continue living there.
Amidst the ongoing legal dispute, Sandoval accused Madix of not contributing to the household expenses for several months, claiming that he had been covering all the bills. Madix has not responded to these allegations as of now.
