Ariana Grande is said to be renting a "stunning" eight-figure mansion in London while she works on the upcoming film adaption of the hit musical Wicked.
The 29-year-old singer has been cast as Glinda the Good in the two-movie project, which will also star Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. Director Jon M. Chu, the mastermind behind Crazy Rich Asians, has teased that the first film will be released in December 2024.
It is claimed Ariana will be staying in a palatial home in North London for the duration of filming.
Ariana's husband Dalton Gomez is expected to spend a lot of time with her during her stay.
"Ariana is renting a stunning house in one of the capital’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. But anyone who thinks they might catch a glimpse of her has no chance, as the place she has found is like a fortress.
"The home has private grounds and is well out of reach of other people, so she’ll be able to totally switch off after filming," a source told The Sun.
The property is said to feature a sprawling kitchen, complete with "top-of-the-range" appliances. The multiple bedrooms have high-end furniture, with the home also complete with a cinema and private garden.
According to the insider, the mansion is costing "hundreds of thousands of pounds for her to rent".
The Mirror has contacted Ariana's representative for comment.
Ariana arrived in the UK earlier this year as rehearsals for the upcoming film got under way. She began working on films back in June and has said landing the role of Glinda is a dream come true.
Taking to social media, she said: "I know the material like the back of my hand, but I still have so much to learn and I want to be in prime condition.
"So I went pretty hard getting ready, and now, thank God ... thank goodness, literally, the most incredible gift of my entire life is this role that I’ve adored since I’m 10 years old, and that is going to have every piece of me; every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my soul, my everything that I can give it."
