Ariana Grande has shared an emotional message on social media hinting at the universe being against her.
The US singer, 25, posted on her Twitter page hours after she dropped the video for single Breathin, illustrating her struggles with anxiety.
Grande hinted at turbulent times in her life, which have seen her split from her fiancé of four-months Pete Davidson and the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.
Grande tweeted: “Remember when I was like hey I have no tears left to cry and the universe was like HAAAAAAAAA b**** u thought (sic).”
The tweet referenced Grande’s track No Tears Left To Cry released earlier this year, her first single since the Manchester Arena bombing which saw 22 people, including children, killed when a bomb was detonated in the foyer after her Dangerous Woman tour show had ended.
In May this year, Grande split from rapper boyfriend Miller and announced her engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Davidson a couple of months later.
Miller was found dead at his home in California on September 7, just weeks before Grande and Davidson called time on their relationship.
In the three minute Breathin video, Grande is in a black dress sitting deep in thought while other shots show her stuck in the clouds, swinging across the murky sky.
Grande also struggles to stay in one moment during crowded scenes in the video, instead having her “head in the clouds”.
