Argos stores in the Republic of Ireland (ROI) will close for good by the end of this month.
The retailer, which is owned by Sainsbury's, announced the move back in January of this year - and confirmed all of its 34 stores in the ROI would be closing.
The last if these stores would shut by June 24, 2023.
The retailer said it arrived at the decision to leave Ireland following a long period of "careful consideration" and a "thorough review" of its business and operations in the country.
Argos said the investment to develop and modernise its Irish part of the business was "not viable" and that the money would be better invested elsewhere.
Customers will still be able to shop at the retailer until it shuts doors for good towards the end of this month.
Home delivery was halted back in March but shoppers have and will continue to be able to use the store's click-and-collect service until June 24.
The closures of the sites put 580 jobs at risk and at the time Argos said it would be consulting with staff and the trade union Mandate about options.
At the time, Mandate Trade Union said it was "disappointed" about Argos' decision to close all of its Republic of Irish branches and said it would "engage intensively" with the company to get the best possible deal for workers.
In January, Argos said it would be consulting with staff and offering an "enhanced redundancy package".
Although it did confirm that a "small number" of staff would not be eligible for redundancy under Irish law and were set to receive a "one-off goodwill payment".
