Argos shoppers hail 'money saving' £15 door curtain that slashes energy bills

The ongoing cost of living crisis is making people take a look at what they're spending and whether or not they really need 'said' item.

However when it comes to essentials such as food and heating, it can be tricky to ensure that we are keeping ourselves fed, and warm, whilst also keeping an eye on our bills, making sure that they aren't too high.

The tricky balance comes amid rising costs which, under the UK Government’s Energy Price Guarantee, sees typical energy bills now costing around £2,500 until March 31 2023. This of course depends on how much energy you use.

Many people are keen to get their hands on the next best electric blanket or air fryer, and whilst these are great items to look into, with the hopes of saving money in the long run, there are more options some people may not have considered.

One of these items is a thermal door curtain. And it seems Argos shoppers don't regret buying one with it getting five stars.

Argos Home Thermal Door Curtain

Coming in the colour cream, the thermal door curtain is said to help "eliminate draughts to keep your house toasty.

"Made from a thick material, it keeps the warm in and the cold out, so you'll spend less on the central heating. As well as its thermal properties it'll also darken the room and give you privacy."

It boats being not only thermal, lined, making it an even better product and more efficient. It is suitable for curtain poles as well as curtain tracks.

And if it gets dirty, you can put it on a gentle wash at 40C.

At the time of writing, it comes in at 315, and with a Nectar card, you can snap up 15 points.

Talking about their purchase one said: "I am so happy I bought this, it has made a huge difference to the warmth in my home and saved me money on fuel bills. It was very good value for money. I only wish it didn't sell out so quickly so I could buy another!"

Another added: This curtain is ideal for keeping the cold out from our back door. It is light in weight which means that it doesnt take up too much room next to the door, yet magically stops the cold air coming off the door and into our kitchen. It's a good neutral colour and ideal length for a regular single door.

"This door curtain is just what we were looking for! It really keeps the cold air out whilst being lightweight and easy to draw back and forth" wrote a third.
