Argos shoppers hail £45 air fryer as people ditch their ovens amid soaring bills

Savvy shoppers have been looking at several ways in which they can save money amid the cost of living crisis which has seen bills rise.

On top of this, energy bills have also soared which has caused people to keep the heating off as well as keeping the lights to a minimum to avoid surging costs.

But something else people have been doing is ditching their ovens for one handy gadget everyone has been talking about. Yes, its the air fryer.

Searches for the kitchen 'must have' have soared with people rushing to the stores, as well as online, to get their hands on one with them selling out fast.

Just recently Aldi shoppers were left less than impressed after the budget supermarket's air fryers sold out within what seemed like seconds causing the website to crash for some keen shoppers.

But whilst Aldi have great air fryers, so do Argos with many shoppers leaving rave reviews for an air fryer that costs just £45.

The £45 'Tower T17023 Compact Air Fryer' which is a lot cheaper than most has nearly two thousand reviews and at the time of writing, has 4.6 stars out of five with 92 per cent saying they recommend the product.

The 'about' section reads: "2.2L Air Fryer Healthy cooking uses little or no oil Rapid air circulate system cooks fast and saves energy."

One said: "Didn't really know anything about air fryers so was a bit dubious about buying one but so glad I did. We haven't used our conventional oven for weeks now. At first I thought the draw looked a bit too small but now having used it for a few weeks it is ideal for two people. It's so easy too use and clean. Got it for a great price at Argos."

Another added: "Bought this a couple of weeks ago having been recommended by family. It's quick and very easy to use and it's great not having to use the oven all the time for small items."
