Argos restocks Ninja air fryer dupe that 'slashes electricity bills by £480 a year'

With energy prices through the roof, many budding chefs are thinking about ways to keep costs down in the kitchen - and one way to do so is by investing in more energy-efficient appliances.

But, there’s one kitchen appliance in particular which shoppers can’t get enough of - yep, you guessed it…the beloved air fryer.

One of the most popular air fryers out there is the Ninja Foodie Dual Zone, but it doesn’t come cheap, costing over £300 - not to mention it’s sold out on almost every retailer. Fear not though as Argos’ epic £150 dupe is back in stock, and shoppers say it’s ‘just as good’ if not better than the pricey Ninja model.

Like the Ninja, due to it being so popular the Tower T17088 9L Dual Basket Vortx Air Fryer has sold out plenty of times - so it’s worth adding to your basket whilst it’s still in stock.

Although it’s still not the cheapest one out there, Tower's much-loved model takes much less time to preheat, compared to the 15-20 minutes it takes on a standard oven, therefore saving you money and time in the long run.

On top of that, it boasts a huge nine-litre capacity and two separate cooking baskets to make different meals - great if you have a fussy eater on your hands.

It’s not just us who are raving either as the energy-efficient dupe has amassed hundreds of five-star reviews on Argos alone with one customer even calling it a ‘game changer.’

One savvy shopper, who used their 'online energy review' found out they were saving £10 a week on energy when using their air fryer rather than the electric oven. That equates to £40 a month or a huge £480 a year.

A second delighted customer wrote: "I've only had this air fryer for three weeks but it's totally changed how and what I cook. I love it. So simple to use and clean and way cheaper than the other brands. A cheap steak comes out perfectly cooked in 12 minutes and roast potatoes come out really crispy. Trust me if you can't cook, this can and it makes you look like a pro. It's fab."

While a third said: "This is amazing. I haven’t used my oven since I purchased this. It takes a while to get used to the functions but now it’s a breeze. Best purchase ever."

There’s more too as the air fryer features 12 one-touch pre-sets with individual control over each compartment. It’s also got a re-heat function, cool zone, and digital timer so that everything is ready on time.

So, if you’re looking for a faster, more affordable and healthier way to cook, then we suggest jumping on the air fryer hype if you haven't already!
