Argos will close a major Dublin city centre store in the New Year.
The retail giant have confirmed the closure of their Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre store, as well as the branch on the high street in Kilkenny. The two shops will continue to trade throughout the rest of the busy Christmas season and will close their doors permanently in the new year.
The Kilkenny branch is expected to close up by Spring 2023 while the store in Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre will cease trading by the summer. It’s not known how many jobs will be affected by the two closures or if staff can be redeployed to different branches.

The Kilkenny Argos closure is being attributed to not one issue, but a range of factors.
