One Argos product, which costs £45, has shoppers raving about it due to its low energy consumption. The energy-efficient electric blanket, will not only keep you cosy at night thanks to its soft, cosy material, but it could also see you save money on your heating bill.
It has four heat settings, so you can choose the perfect temperature for you and even features overheat protection for total peace of mind. However, experts do recommend turning off the appliance before falling asleep to regulate your core temperature.

At its lowest setting, the Dreamland Antibacterial Heated Underblanket single costs just 2.7p to run for eight hours. The blanket easily fits onto your mattress thanks to its convenient corner straps, and is machine washable.
There's a timer, and fast setting claims to "have your bed warm in only 5 minutes, it's energy saving and costing only 1p to run per night". The product has clearly won customers over, with dozens of 5 star reviews on the Argos website.
One shopper said: "Warms the bed very quickly, stays on safely all night on low setting and is very economical to run. Also it’s full length, so warm feet! Very pleased with the purchase." A second said: "So much cosier getting into bed on cold nights and I don’t need the heating on in the bedroom. It warms the duvet and bottom sheet after 10 mins."
A third shopper said: "I do not use room heating as the heated blanket Is superb at heating the bed and really saves electricity and of course is so much cheaper", while a fourth added: "In less than ten minutes the bed is warm and ready, a really good purchase for winter season".
