Virgil van Dijk was the subject of a cheeky dig from an Argentine journalist just moments before he picked up an award at the FIFA The Best show.
The Liverpool defender was present at the prestigious awards ceremony to collect his trophy for being named in the FIFA World XI.
Before heading into the show though, the Netherlands international clearly wasn't in the mood to stop for interviews on the red carpet, particularly for one South American journalist.

Van Dijk was walking past reporters at the ceremony when TyC Sports' Gaston Edul wanted the Dutchman to stop to speak to him. The 31-year-old though had other ideas, prompting a sarcastic response.
The Argentine reporter made reference to Van Dijk's Dutch side being knocked out by the World Cup winners at the quarter-finals stage in Qatar.
"One minute, just two questions, please," the reporter said as Van Dijk walked past and didn't stop to talk.
The reporter then turned to the camera to say: "Well, Virgil van Dijk told me no... it doesn't matter. Argentina won the quarter-finals..."
Van Dijk will no doubt remember the Netherlands' clash with Argentina well, with the bad-tempered quarter-final seeing his Dutch side crash out on penalties as the defender missed in the shootout.
Despite the defeat, Van Dijk would go on to earn his place in the World XI, thanks in no small part to his efforts as Liverpool narrowly missed out on a historic quadruple last season, with Jurgen Klopp paying tribute to his defender after picking up the award.
"I don't think he got in this team just because of his last four or five performances, it was because of [the] last year and I think that's fully and absolutely deserved," Klopp said.
"He obviously likes it a lot, I could see some reaction, so that's cool. He was there [at the awards]. [He] asked me if he can go there, yes of course, it's no problem... it's great. Once I was there, it's a nice event. So it's worth going."
