Are you happy it's snowing? Take our poll

Merseyside has been struck by heavy snow throughout the region.

This morning the Met Office warned of "blizzard conditions" before the heavy snow started, with "significant disruptions" expected due to the weather. A yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office, warning of possible travel delays, cancellations and possible even power cuts today and tomorrow (Friday).

But aside from the warnings Liverpool looks stunning as the snow falls, with pictures from around the region serving as proof of that. Photos taken by ECHO photographer Colin Lane show stunning scenes from Everton Park as it is covered in snow.

Are you happy it's snowing? Or were you getting ready for Spring and the snow has thwarted your plans?

This morning the Met Office reported the weather is turning "unsettled as another band of snow, sleet and rain" moves towards the North West and Liverpool. Forecasters say people should expect strong winds, blizzard conditions likely, especially over higher ground and across the Pennines.

While the BBC forecast read: "Today will see a cloudy start, and soon spells of sleet and snow will push in from the west, these becoming heavier later in the day. Winds picking up too by the evening."
