A Southport man has branded road signs near his home the "most ignored in Merseyside".
The man, who asked to be known only as Mr Walker, contacted the ECHO after becoming increasingly frustrated with the signage on Queens Road being disregarded.
He said: "These must be the most ignored road signs in Merseyside.

"They are at both ends of Queens Road, Southport.
"They were put in place when the cycle lanes were introduced and have been constantly ignored ever since.
"An informal survey was undertaken over a seven day period during the hours of 7am-7pm, and during that time an average of just over 21 vehicles per hour, which were not buses or cycles entered Queens Road through the No Entry signs.
"Some vehicles were also speeding."
Merseyside Police says it is working closely with the council to monitor the road.
Local Policing Inspector Graham Fisher said: “We are working closely with our Roads Policing Unit, local council and PCCs office to ensure the safety of all road users.
“Having raised concerns, these signs are now under review and we hope that improvements will be made. As a result, officers will not be conducting enforcement at this time.”
Sefton Council echoed this, with a spokesman saying: “We are aware of a small number of drivers committing traffic offences on Queens Road, Southport, and we are working with our partners to implement a number of additional measures to reduce this behaviour.”
