Are there players it would make sense for the Boston Celtics to draft at No. 53 in the 2022 NBA draft?

Are there any players the Boston Celtics might want to consider with the No. 53 pick of the 2022 NBA draft, or would they be better off using it to onboard talent via trade? The Celtics have different priorities than they have for some time given they just got done playing the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, and will likely be competing for titles for the foreseeable short-term future.

There is of course a very good chance that the team trades the pick or makes moves that have them picking elsewhere in the draft, but there are a number of players who might help the team now or down the road as an overseas stash candidate.

Who should the Celtics be taking a look at this late in the draft? The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast got together with For The Win draft expert Bryan Kalbrosky to go over the likely suspects who could be around for Boston to take once their late second-rounder is on the clock.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear what Kalbrosky has to say about the pick, as well as the value the Celtics might be able pull from the undrafted free agents.
