Are the Boston Celtics the best team in the NBA right now?

The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in a close game, marking back-to-back losses for Philly. With Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis out, Jayson Tatum stepped up and dominated the game, scoring 29 points and 8 rebounds. Tatum showcased his physicality and ability to create his own shot, elevating his game to a new level.

Derrick White and Jrue Holiday were instrumental in shutting down Tyrese Maxey, making life difficult for the Sixers’ guard. However, the main question raised is why Joel Embiid, the reigning MVP, only had two shots in the fourth quarter. The Celtics’ small-ball approach, led by Tatum, proved effective in closing out the game. Tatum’s performance has catapulted him into early MVP discussions alongside Kevin Durant.

The Celtics are currently the best team in the league to some, with their offensive skill and defensive backbone provided by Holiday.
