Word on the street is that the Boston Celtics are looking to upgrade their roster ahead of the NBA’s 2023-24 trade deadline given the lack of consistency shown by Boston’s offseason reserve additions not showing much in the way of consistency beyond Sam Hauser and Al Horford.
But any such move will face not only the usual difficulty of finding the right trade target to be worth expending assets on, but also one cheap enough and in the right contract amount to make it possible for the Celtics — now a second apron team with all the restrictions that entails — to pull off.
What sort of player might make sense for Boston to pursue should this speculation be correct? What does the market look like?
The hosts of the “NBA Front Office” show recently weighed in on all this and more on a recent episode — check it out above.
