Are the Boston Celtics disrespecting star wing Jaylen Brown by letting it look like he is being dangled in a potential trade framework for veteran Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant? The Georgia native was probably the Celtics’ most consistent player in the 2022 NBA Finals, with Boston getting to within two games of winning an NBA title.
Yet, despite this and the constant improvement, we have seen in Brown’s game over the years between each season, it looks as if the Celtics might actually be considering such a deal, with no explicit refutation coming from Boston President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens or the rest fo the front office.
The hosts of the ESPN “Swagu and Perk” show recently debated whether the Celtics are screwing things up with one of their most important players.
