In light of the Queen's state funeral today, many shops and businesses will either be changing their operating hours or closing down entirely as a mark of respect.
Among these will be the UK's most popular coffee shops which usually operate for long hours from the morning to evening. During today's funeral, which has been officially declared a bank holiday, it won't be unusual to see your local coffee shop close its door out of respect for Queen Elizabeth II.
Government guidance states: "Some businesses may wish to consider closing or postponing events, especially on the day of the state funeral, however, this is at the discretion of individual businesses."
