Traditional sports rivalries in Boston, such as the Boston Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees and Boston Celtics vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, have lost some of their intensity over the years on the other. Despite changes in rivalries and fan interactions, Boston is still hailed as one of the most passionate sports cities in America.
