Both Facebook and Instagram appear to be down in Ireland.
Thousands of users in Ireland and across the world are reporting not being able to access either website.
The outage seems to have happened around 8.30pm in Ireland.

Downdetector.com, which records outages for websites, has seen a huge surge in the numbers of people reporting issues with both social media sites - both of which are owned by Meta.
As of 9pm, over 6,000 people had reported issues accessing Facebook on Downdetector, while a further 5, 500 told of issues accessing Instagram.
Meanwhile, just over 100 people have reported problems with WhatsApp.
