Ards mum knocked out by puppy power in her own kitchen

A Co Down mum and hairdresser has shared a moment of chaos which knocked her off her feet in her own home after it was caught on a security camera.

Lynsey Cleland from Newtownards ended up splayed on the the floor of her kitchen during the incident.

But she was back on her feet and laughing as she shared the video footage of how she was tumbled by her two energetic pups as they played chase in the house.

Lynsey said: "My animals literally floored me. One minute I was standing at the door between the kitchen and the sitting room and the next I was on my backside. Our dog Duke who is a Cocker Spaniel, American Staffie mix. He is 15 months and he's strong and still full of puppy fun.

High flier Duke (Lynsey Cleland)

"He zoomed past me while being chased by our puppy Daisy who is just six months old. As a wee Staffie she's small but she's powerful.

"So the combination of the pair of them zooming past me literally took me off my feet. I think Duke caught my leg and I buckled. The next thing I was on the floor.

Daisy (Lynsey Cleland)

"They were just playing and thankfully did no harm. I thought it was funny so I shared it on my social media and it made a few people laugh. We love our dogs and enjoy their fun games.

"We only got Daisy in October and she has become Duke's Best friend so there are lots of fun and games in the house. We wouldn't be without them."
