Tickets to see Arctic Monkeys in Manchester have surged to as much as £300 each - just days after a mammoth 80,000 people joined the online queue to try and secure their place at the much anticipated concert.
The band's 2023 tour will kick off at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, on May 29 before they head to Coventry and then perform two huge sell-out shows at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester on June 2 and 3.
Tickets initially went on sale on Friday (September 30), with an enormous 80,000 fans rushing to Ticketmaster and Seetickets to wait in the online queue to try and nab their seats. General release tickets went up for sale for between £52 and £99.

Ticketmaster tweeted the queueing fans to encourage them to "be patient and don’t refresh or you’ll lose your place." And despite the desperate efforts, many were left disappointed and opted to try and source resale tickets instead.
As of Sunday (October 2), tickets for the Friday gig were selling on Viagogo from £201 each, up to £324 per ticket for the floor area of the stadium. And for the Saturday performance, those prices ranged from £174 to £330.
People also opted to try and flog their tickets on Twitter for as much as £500. One user wrote: "selling 4 standing arctic monkeys tickets for manchester, £500 each" as another posted: Another tweeted: "Selling two Arctic Monkeys Sheffield standing tickets, £400 each."
Currently, Ticketmaster is advertising resale tickets, which are sold by fans, for a much lower £92.14 each. Their regulations state re-sales should be for no more than what were originally paid, and using an official re-sale partner.
Thousands of fans had attempted to buy pre-sale tickets on Thursday (September 28) after pre-ordering the band's new album, 'The Car.' Demand led to another date being added to their Manchester line-up. And fans were also reportedly quoted more than £300 for hotel stays for the show dates, with rooms selling out across the city.
Fans tweeted of their disappointment over the weekend after they failed to get tickets for the show. @djmattcat tweeted: "Tried desperately to get Arctic Monkeys tickets for Sheffield or Manchester but all gone!! Gutted!!"
@thonningswhelan wrote: "spent 45 mins of my precious time trying to get Arctic Monkey tickets for Manchester or Sheffield. What a waste of my time. Was never going to happen was it? At least I saved £160+ gosh."
A spokesman for Viagogo said: "Given the buzz surrounding the Arctic Monkeys new album, the demand and quick sell-out for their tour is not a surprise.
We are pleased to give fans options and flexibility by providing an open marketplace where they have the freedom to buy or sell tickets, backed by our industry-leading guarantee.
“Prices on viagogo, which are set by the sellers, reflect this demand. Once the initial excitement about the Artic Monkeys tour settles, so too will the market. The listing prices are not necessarily an indication of what a fan will spend, and we encourage buyers to know what value they put on being at the live show and monitor our marketplace for something that suits their budget."
