Hamilton goalkeeper Ryan Fulton says his side are due a win over Arbroath when the sides clash at New Douglas Park in the Premiership this afternoon.
Dick Campbell's side racked up a 40 win at Gayfield in September and the sides have drawn 1-1 and 2-2 in their last two meetings, with the Red Lichties levelling late on in both of those draws.
That's an element that has cost Hamilton several points this season, including in Friday's 1-1 draw with Ayr United at Somerset Park, and Fulton says it would mean a lot to get the win that will provide his side with a glimmer of hope of a play-off spot.
Accies sit sixth in the table, seven points behind fourth-placed Partick Thistle, realistically needing three points against an Arbroath side which is second, four points behind leaders Kilmarnock.
Fulton said: "There's no time to dwell on the draw on Friday night, we need to keep going.
"We know what Arbroath are going to bring and that it's going to be a tough match, so we need to be up for it.
"We need to dust ourselves down. Let it hurt for now, but we need to get going again, definitely.
"We feel that we owe them one, because we were 2-1 up on them and they drew 2-2, it was exactly the same outcome as on Friday night, and with two penalties as well.
"I think we need to beat any team that comes up against us, but definitely them, with the way it happened last time."
