Apple unveiled new accessories for its latest iPad models at its recent 'Let Loose' event. Among the new offerings is the Apple Pencil Pro, a more advanced stylus designed to enhance user creativity. Priced at $129, the Pencil Pro features a new sensor on the barrel roll that allows users to access a tool palette with various line weights and colors, particularly beneficial for artists using graphic design software like Pro Create.
One of the standout features of the Pencil Pro is its ability to activate shortcuts to brushes, adjust image size, and introduce color by simply pressing the barrel row. Additionally, the Pencil Pro conveniently attaches, charges, and stores on the side of the iPad Pro using magnets, with the added benefit of being locatable through the 'Find My' feature.
Apple also introduced a new version of its Magic Keyboard, the first update since 2020. The redesigned keyboard is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, offering improved portability and versatility. Available in black and white, the Magic Keyboard comes in two sizes: one for the 11-inch iPad Pro priced at $299 and another for the 13-inch model at $349.
Notable features of the new Magic Keyboard include a function row for easy access to controls like screen brightness, aluminum palm rests, and a larger trackpad. Apple emphasized that using the new keyboard provides a user experience akin to using a MacBook, further enhancing the iPad Pro's functionality.
Both the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard are now open for pre-orders and are set to begin shipping next week, offering users the opportunity to elevate their iPad Pro experience with these innovative accessories.
