Apple Teases Four New Ipad Models With Surprising Features

Apple logo

Apple enthusiasts are in for a treat as new clues hint at the imminent release of four distinct iPad models in the near future. Recent discoveries within Apple's backend code have unveiled identifiers for previously unseen iPads, sparking excitement and speculation among tech aficionados.

The identifiers, namely iPad15,7, iPad15,8, iPad16,1, and iPad16,2, suggest the upcoming launch of two iPads, each available in two versions—one with wifi only and the other with wifi and cellular connectivity. These models are likely to be the 11th generation regular iPad and the seventh iteration of the iPad mini.

What's particularly intriguing is the revelation of the processors powering these devices. The first pair is expected to feature the Apple A16 chip, a significant upgrade from the A14 Bionic chip present in the current 10th-gen iPad. On the other hand, the third and fourth models are speculated to come equipped with an A17 processor, indicating a boost in performance, especially for the iPad mini.

Furthermore, the code hints at the existence of unreleased iPad models that were possibly in development but never made it to the market. Notably, references to an iPad Pro with an M3 processor suggest that certain models were scrapped in favor of more advanced iterations, such as the latest iPad Pro with the M4 chip.

Excitement peaks with the mention of four additional references to iPad17, potentially signaling the next iPad Pro models with two size variants and connectivity options. Surprisingly, these models are rumored to feature an M5 processor, hinting at even more powerful performance enhancements.

However, one puzzling aspect emerges from the findings—the potential exclusion of Apple Intelligence compatibility in the next iPad models featuring the A16 processor. Given that all iPhone 16 models are expected to support Apple Intelligence, the absence of this feature in the upcoming iPads raises questions about Apple's strategic decisions and future plans.

While the exact release dates for these new iPad models remain uncertain, the leaks and speculations circulating within the tech community have undoubtedly stirred up anticipation for what Apple has in store for its loyal fan base.
