You Can Get An AirTag For Just $25 on Amazon Right Now

Sure, all of Apple’s devices, like the iPhone, iPad, Macs, and even Apple Watches are supported on the FindMy network, which makes them easy to ping when you're in a pinch and can't find them. But what about other important items that tend to go missing, like keys, a backpack, or even luggage?

That’s where an AirTag comes in handy, and it’s the easiest way to keep track of those elusive items right from your iPhone. Better yet, the price of an AirTag on Amazon has dropped to the lowest of the year. Right now, a single is just $25, a full 14% off the $29 MSRP, and Prime members score free, fast shipping.

The Arena Media Brands, LLC and respective content providers may receive compensation for some links to products and services on this website.

To those who are experts at losing things, we’d recommend adding to your cart and checking out ASAP. Historically, single and four-pack AirTags have sold out quickly when discounted on Amazon and revert to the regular price or a lesser discount thereafter.

Get It.

Similar to competing item trackers from Tile or Chipolo, the AirTag is a small, circular device made from plastic and stainless steel. It’s about the size of a quarter and can safely be stored inside a bag or attached with an accessory. There's also a growing amount of key rings and wallets with special compartments for the tracking device.

Apple’s AirTag can also handle a lot, with full IP67 resistance against dust and water. That means it will still function if it’s exposed to rain, takes a tumble in a pool, or even a dust storm. Inside the AirTag is a single speaker that can get pretty loud, so you can hear the playful location tone if you ping it. Plus, it also boasts Bluetooth 5.0, a U1 chip for ultra-wideband connectivity, and NFC (near field communications).

It’s also one of the only products in Apple’s family of devices that boasts a user-replaceable battery. A single CR2032 battery powers it for about a year, and as it gets close to running out, it will send a notification via the FindMy app that it’s time to replace it. The battery is also readily available for order on Amazon.

The real appeal of the AirTag, and what makes it so impressive, is just how well-integrated it is with Apple’s ecosystem. Once you unbox it, you’ll hold it near your iPhone and pull the battery tag from the back. From there, just like AirPods or an Apple Watch, a splash screen will appear, and you’ll set it up. The AirTag will be linked with your Apple ID; you can name it and even pick an emoji to represent it.

After setup is complete, it lives in the FindMy app, and you can easily ping it, use your iPhone 12 or newer to get hyper-accurate directions to it, and even see where it is on a map. Location tracking is powered by Apple’s FindMy network, which comprises hundreds of thousands of Apple devices. This ensures an accurate location for it and that it is frequently updated.

The only downside to the Apple AirTag might be that the compact design doesn’t feature a hole for a keyring or any method for attaching it to an object. You'll need to buy an accessory to track your keys or a bag. Luckily, there are a ton of them, and some of them are relatively affordable as well. Here are a few of our favorites that are also discounted:

  • Belkin AirTag Secure Holder with Key Ring, $12 (was $13) at Amazon
  • Belkin AirTag Secure Holder with Strap, $10 (was $13) at Amazon
  • Nomad Leather Loop for AirTag, $15 at Nomad

Whether you’ve been waiting to get an AirTag or want to add another to your collection, now’s the ideal time to score one, and you’re getting it for the year's lowest price on Amazon.
